This painting was my answer to a floating watermelon. In this case the pieces were defying gravity and it took me two weeks to figure out a way to anchor them onto the paper. See that little slice at the top center. Its addition did the job. Block it out with your finger and watch the larger slices fly away. There are many delicious subtle changes of color in this painting a computer can not reproduce. You almost want to lick the paper when you see the real painting. I used my favorite Fugal design and my form of Pointillism to capture this melon. –An original Watercolor, no copies made . This painting appears on page 153 in the Multi-Award Winning book , "Painting… a QUEST toward Xtraord!nary" |
